The point you become greedy, and wish to get "lucky", is the day you lose all of your cash. Sounds a little strange, but it appears to be credible. It seems the only time I ever win money is when I don’t care about blowing it. I decided to go to the the casino the other evening with twenty dollars. I could not care any less about blowing it, I mean, what is twenty dollars? So can you imagine what happened? I left with $120 in profit in two hours!
Another time I was at the casino with my friend Bob. I took in $100 that I couldn’t afford to squander. I got hoggish, I got terrified, and I ended up betting too much and squandered it in thirty mins! The lesson is never bet more than you can afford to lose. If you do not worry about squandering, you have a lot more opportunity of succeeding big!
What other ways can you increase your chances of winning at Roulette besides creating a budget? Never bet on individual numbers! Sure, they hit every once in a while, but they do not hit often enough to guarantee a constant profit. Just wager on 1:1 wagers for example black, red, even, odd, 1-18, and 19-36, and 2:1 bets e.g. 1st 12, 2nd 12, third 12, etc Wager on odds that pay fairly high.
With the basics covered, how else can we further elevate our chances of winning at Roulette? By shifting probability into our ally, instead of our mortal enemy. "You cannot win at Roulette", my buddy Matt would say to me. "It is completely arbitrary because any number can come up". Yes, my buddy Chris has a point, although at the same instance, he is missing an important aspect of the picture. I totally agree, black or red could come up 30 times in a row, but how often does that happen?
